Me he convertido en una trágica romántica alimentándome de nubes oscuras y corazones rotos.

Por siempre Felipa.

Juliet Naked and Pagan Poetry

Never had time before...so i do it now

1. Reading. Wow! Ive discover Nick Hornby! To most of u I might appear as if Ive been leaving under a rock, but then again I barely had time for recreational literature in my old life. Bouncing from Uni to party was quite time sucking. Moving into this new life made me grabb books again. I started with a few from Paulo Coelho I bought in Spain. Finally some Spanish!! Then i moved on to "Slam" (by Horby), a book my best friend forgot at another friends apartment in Berlin. I took it and dug myself into it. It is no Socrates or a universal masterpiece. It serves its purpose. To entertain. I couldnt get myself away from it! After finish with it I grabbed more of Hornbys pieces...Juliet Naked. I love how i can picture his books in my head just like in a movie, where the main actress would be Kate Winslet alongside "Rolling Stoner" Keith Richards!...Honestly i really do think my true calling is in film casting!
Anyway Ive read now almost all of Nicks books (I just love the "english" of 'em).
Lets not forget Im currently in Germany, where English books are quite hard to find, but I somehow managed to get a hold of "One Day", a lovely story written by David Nicholls. Once again the characters just played themselves out in my head. I must add, the boy reminds me of someone I know (Dont u just love it when that happens?!). After a while Ive realized Ive read almost all english books featured in every Books store in some of the German cities. It is so funny how they all have the same pick!..Although yesterday I was in Kölns train station and saw a nice collection of old books, such like "The great Gatsby", and "Lolita". I havent read lolita and I found myself eager to buy it but my budget was quite low :(. BUMMER
Currently im back at Khaled HosseiniS second book after "The kite runner" called "A thousand Splendid suns". I get so depressed. I love the effect it has on me.
You might aswell critize my book picks and think there is quite a lot more "philosophical, political" creations from which I can expand my knowledge, and I agree...Bu honestly i cant be bothered. so f*ck it :).....(although! I was tempted on buying the latest Barack Obamas book!...Im a bit curious)

2. Björk! Man, I really was living under a rock! Although I always knew bout this Scandinavian singer and liked a few songs I never actually payed attention to her trayectory. Simply Amazing! Now I even know the whole story behind the "Duck Dress" at the Oscars!
I spend nighst after work just listening to "Pagan Poetry" over and over. So suthing. So Calm yet powerful. Her lyrics are so profound, sometimes simple, lack of exact sense but yet the say so much. Even in the parts where no text is sang.
